FINANCIAL PLANNING ASSOCIATE

TMG is pursuing a dynamic Financial Planning Associate to join our Financial Planning team. Based in our Cincinnati office, a Financial Planning Associate’s responsibility is providing support to high-performing Wealth Advisors. This role is a great opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience and career development.

ROLE INFORMATION

  • Status: Full-Time
  • Location: Cincinnati, OH
  • Compensation Structure: Base Salary + Bonus
  • Reports to: Erin O’Connor-Bell, Director of Financial Planning

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day client management support to Wealth Advisors
  • Create comprehensive financial plans that encompass retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and investment management.
  • Participate in client meetings to gather relevant financial information, comprehending clients’ goals, risk tolerance, and financial aspirations.
  • Enter client information into repositories, including Salesforce and MoneyGuidePro/eMoney while maintaining accurate and up-to-date client information, ensuring data integrity across all technologies.
  • Assist in preparing client presentations and meetings, communicating financial plans and recommendations effectively to clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, tax law changes, and investment strategies to contribute valuable insights to the financial planning process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in the development and execution of financial plans.
  • Actively pursuing professional development opportunities, including obtaining relevant certifications, to enhance knowledge and skills in financial planning.


IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, consumer economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum one to three years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with MoneyGuidePro, or other financial planning technology.
  • Immediate understanding of financial products and financial planning concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
